Casa Caterina

Casa Caterina sits at the foot of Palazzo Ciampoli, a fifteenth-century Catalan-Gothic palace, on one of Taormina's most photographed staircases. You open the door in the morning and that's what you're looking at. Behind the door: a queen bedroom, a sofa bed, a full bathroom, a proper kitchen with Nespresso machine, microwave and washing machine. The patio is the rare part — almost nothing in the historic centre has one. A private outdoor corner, screened from the street, for coffee before the town wakes up and wine after it quiets down.
